Immigration Law MCLE Meeting

Speaker: Elizabeth McGuan - Law Office of Elizabeth McGuan

Summary: This talk will apply Federal and State law to undocumented students in Illinois today, answering the questions:  Can a student without legal immigration status attend an educational institution? If so, does the contact with the institution present risks to them?  If the students themselves are not at risk directly, are there any risks for the undocumented parents of students? What about opportunities for the undocumented in higher education?
