Summary of Topic:  The new year will bring about many changes for the business lawyer as he/she intersects with many new employment-related laws going into effect. Whether it involves drafting contracts that include confidentiality clauses, arbitration clauses, non-competes, biometric usage, artificial intelligence usage in employee screening or drug testing in the workplace, business lawyers must be keenly aware of what the new laws require.

2. How biometrics and artificial intelligence impact the employment process

3. Employment classifications and new wage and hour rates
