Family Law and Practice MCLE Meeting

 

 

 

 

Speaker: Dr. Diana Uchiyama, JD, PsyD, Lawyers' Assistance Program

Topic: 
Jessica and Daun will present what the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services Division (HFS) and the State's Attorney can and cannot do in the context of administrative remedies. Additionally, attendees can play "stump the presenters" by asking their biggest, most troubling questions about the IV-D program.

 

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the statutory authority HFS uses in exercising its administrative remedies   
  • Learn about the process HFS uses when exercising its administrative remedies
  • Learn how to navigate the administrative process
