DuPage County Bar Association "Lends a Hand" With Annual Coat Drive

WHEATON, Illinois - Fred Spitzzeri, President of the DuPage County Bar Association, announces the DCBA will sponsor its annual November coat drive. The bar association expects to exceed last year's record of collecting 1,000 winter coats, jackets, boots, warm hats and gloves for men, women and children for distribution to various county agencies. Clean coats may be dropped off at the Bar Center, 126 S. County Road in Wheaton from November 1 through 20, 2007 between 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Volunteers will meet at the Bar Center at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20 to sort and distribute coats to local agencies. Families and non-lawyer friends are also invited to participate.

Lawyers Lending a Hand is a monthly project of the DuPage County Bar Foundation, a 501c(3) not-for-profit organization. Its mission is to assist DuPage County Bar Association members and their families, as well as preserve and promote the integrity of the legal profession for the public benefit.
