Press Release - Tuesday May 8, 2007DuPage County Associate Judges Rated in Poll Survey of area lawyers conducted by DuPage County Bar Association
The results of the poll are below. "Polling of DCBA members about the performance, temperament and ability of DuPage County's Associate Judges is an important mission of our Bar Association and authorized pursuant to our bylaws," said Glenn R. Gaffney, DCBA President. "We take judicial polling very seriously and over 540 lawyer members responded to our poll. Overall, the poll results reflect that we have some of the best and brightest judges in the State of Illinois." Attorneys are asked to respond only if they have sufficient knowledge about an Associate Judge and to give a fair, informed opinion. The ballot measures such qualities as overall performance, legal knowledge & ability, judicial temperament and ability to remain bias neutral. Each Associate Judge's retention rating is based upon the poll question which asks, "Should this Judge be retained today?" Responses of "no opinion" are not included.
