Press Release - Wednesday April 2, 2008DuPage County Driver Improvement School Offered Live and Online -- in Both English and Spanish WHEATON, Illinois - Do you seek a discount on auto insurance? Would you like your teenager to drive more defensively? The DuPage County Bar Association now offers the National Safety Council Defensive Driving Course online, as well as via a traditional classroom setting, by the DuPage County Bar Association in both English and Spanish. Successful completion of the driver safety program is usually required to satisfy conditions of Traffic Court supervision, as a supplement to Secretary of State licensing hearings, and to meet provisions of certain insurance policies. Some insurance companies provide rate reductions to drivers or their employers upon completion of the six-hour class. The fee for the live course is $90, and the online course is $50. DCBA President Fred Spitzzeri commented: "The National Safety Council Driver Improvement School is an integral part of many county traffic court systems and insurance programs. The DuPage County Bar Association is proud to offer this important public service in Spanish as well as English. We encourage DuPage County residents, attorneys, and area companies to contact our office to learn more about this beneficial course."
