WHEATON, Illinois - The DuPage County Bar Foundation is accepting applications for the annual Hartman E. Stime Scholarship. The DCBF will award a scholarship of at least $2,000 to a DuPage County resident who will begin his or her second, third or fourth year of law school in Fall, 2008. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of prior academic achievement and economic need.
The application form, available at http://www.dcba.org/public/law_day.htm, or by contacting the bar office at 630-653-7779, must be submitted by March 28, 2008. The Selection Committee will interview candidates in our Wheaton office on April 12, and the recipient will be recognized on May 2, 2008 at the Law Day Luncheon.

This scholarship is named for Wheaton attorney, Hartman E. Stime (1927-1991), in recognition of his many years of pro bono work and community service efforts on behalf of the poor and elderly.
