DuPage County Bar Association Supports DuPage Pledge of Professionalism

WHEATON, Illinois -The Board of Directors of the DuPage County Bar Association has overwhelmingly adopted the Pledge of Professionalism as drafted by the DuPage County Commission on Professionalism. The Commission on Professionalism, co-chaired by DuPage County Chief Judge Ann Jorgensen and DCBA President Fred Spitzzeri, consisted of a blue ribbon panel of some two dozen judges and lawyers in DuPage County.

The DuPage County Pledge of Professionalism sets forth principles of behavior to which the bench and bar should aspire. They are intended to encourage lawyers and judges to act with civility, decorum, and to confirm the legal profession's rightful status as an honorable and respected profession.
