DuPage Officials Collaborate to Bring Free Wi-Fi to Courthouse
Those working or attending court proceedings at the Judicial Office Facility on the DuPage County campus may now take advantage of free Wi-Fi available at the courthouse and annex buildings.
Chairman Dan Cronin, in collaboration with Chief Judge Kathryn Creswell, Circuit Court Clerk Chris Kachiroubas and the DuPage County Bar Association recently completed the installation of over 50 Wireless Access Points (WAPs) to complete a wireless network at the courthouse. WAPs were installed in all courtrooms and other common areas around the facility.
Two banks of lockers were also installed near the entrances to the buildings so that citizens may store their cellphones securely before they attend court proceedings.
“We are grateful to the Chief Judge, the Circuit Court Clerk and the Bar Association for their cooperation as we provide an improved experience for citizens going to court or doing business at our judicial facility,” said Chairman Cronin.
