Warrenville Attorney Bill Price Reappointed
to Two State Bar Association Positions
WARRENVILLE – Small business attorney William A. Price has been reappointed to two-year terms on both the Business and Securities Law Section Council, and the Administrative Law Section Council of the Illinois State Bar Association.
Price, whose GrowthLaw firm’s legal services center on business and administrative issues, international and national transactions, and nonprofit law, is a long-time member and former chair of both ISBA Sections. He currently is editor of the Administration Law Section Council newsletter.
The 2012 recipient of the ISBA’s prestigious Matthew Maloney Tradition of Excellence Award, Price also chairs The Institute of Illinois Business Law. Originally formed in 1981 by Illinois Secretary of State and future Governor Jim Edgar to review Illinois business statutes administered by the Secretary of State, the Institute today is a project of the Chicago-Kent College of Law.
The ISBA’s Business and Securities Law Section monitors developments in the many legal fields, including securities and commodities law, which affect business, charitable and professional organizations.
The Administrative Law Section focuses its attention on developments in administrative law, including proposed laws and regulations, and facilitates the exchange of ideas between governmental and private practice attorneys in the field.
Founded in 1877, the Springfield-based Illinois State Bar Association provides professional services to lawyers throughout the state, and education and related services to the general public.
