Official Court Reporters

February 02, 2012
DuPage County Courthouse

In addition to providing the record live in the felony courtrooms, as it always has, the Official Court Reporting staff at the DuPage County Courthouse wants you to know that it also has the ability to cover trials live in any of the courtrooms that typically use electronic recording to provide a record such as in the Law, Chancery and Domestic Relations divisions.

The Official Court Reporters have the ability to produce regular delivery within two to three weeks, Expedited Delivery within seven business days, and Daily Copy which is next-day delivery.

The advantage to using the Official Court Reporting staff located at the courthouse as opposed to an outside court reporting agency is that they do not charge for their appearance time in the courtroom which can amount to a substantial savings.  The only cost is for transcript which is charged on a page-per-page basis.  Another advantage to using the court reporting staff at the courthouse is that we are conveniently located in the courthouse for easy access, communication and last-minute changes.  The Official Court Reporters use state-of-the-art equipment and have the ability to provide transcript in any format desired.

To schedule court reporting for a proceeding or if you have any questions, please call our office at 630-407-8927, or you can call Ray Peters, the Court Reporter Supervisor, directly at 407-8889.
