Civil Law Lawyer to Look Up To

The New Lawyer Committee partnered with the Civil Law Committee this month to honor an attorney that new attorneys can look up to.   To select the honoree, the New Lawyer and Civil Committees requested nominations from the Civil Judges and then the 100+ attendees at the October Civil Law meeting voted on the winner. 

At the November Happy Hour at Wok'n Fire in Wheaton, a record attendance crowd turned out to see Ed Walsh of Walsh, Knippen, Knight & Pollock receive the first award given by the committee.  Brad Pollock, David Rolewick and Judge Ken Popejoy took turns sharing stories that exemplified Walsh's knowledge of the law and his dedication to civility.  The New Lawyer Committee will be handing out similar awards in the Criminal and Family Law Committees in the spring.
