Sharon R. Mulyk of Glen Ellyn installed as President of the DuPage County Bar Association 
 
Other DCBA officers installed include Patrick B. Hurley of Hinsdale as President Elect; Lynn C. Cavallo of Wheaton as 2nd V.P.; and James J. Laraia of St. Charles as 3rd V.P.

Wheaton, Illinois - Sharon R. Mulyk of Glen Ellyn was installed as President of the DuPage County Bar Association for the 2012-2013 term at its annual installation of officers and directors held on Thursday, May 31 at The Morton Arboretum in Lisle.
 

In her remarks to DCBA's members and guests, Mulyk said: "The law is a noble profession.  I am proud to be a lawyer.  I am proud to be a member of the DCBA and to be a part of the tradition of integrity, leadership, competency and civility that has prevailed in this county.  I am proud that the members of this association can come together and provide a voice of reason by building consensus on what is good for both the public and the profession.  This Association can maintain its rich history and traditions, while being innovative to insure that the profession will still be in existence and will still be strong for generations to come."

Other officers installed include: Patrick B. Hurley of Hinsdale as President Elect (President for the 2013-2014 term), Lynn C. Cavallo of Wheaton as Second Vice President (President for the 2014-2015 term), and James J. Laraia of St. Charles as Third Vice President (President for the 2015-2016 term).
 
Also appointed were John A. Pleviak of Glen Ellyn as Secretary-Treasurer; Arthur W. Rummler of Downers Grove as Assistant Treasurer; Bradley N. Pollock of Glen Ellyn as General Counsel; and Gregory P. Adamo of Libertyville as Associate General Counsel.
 
Five elected members of the DCBA's 20-member Board of Directors were installed: Gerald A. Cassioppi of Naperville; Kimberly A. Davis of Winfield; Patrick L. Edgerton of West Chicago; J. Matthew Pfeiffer of Glen Ellyn; and New Lawyer Director Chantelle A. Porter of Wheaton.

 
Award Recipients
 
Christine Reed received the National Safety Council Award for excellence in teaching teen drivers the attitude and defensive driving program.

The DCBA's Ralph A. Gabric Award in recognition of leadership and professionalism was presented to Brenda Carroll. 

Dion U. Davi, Timothy P. Martin and Angel M. Traub received Retiring Board Members Awards.


Board of Directors Awards were presented to Joe DelGuidice, Kevin H. Millon, Angel M. Traub, Troy D. Traub and Eric M. Waltmire.
