DCBA to Vote on Revised Bylaws

After input from the membership, the DCBA's Board of Directors has made additional revisions to the revised bylaws. These changes have been approved and recommended for adoption by DCBA Members. The Bylaws are subject to approval at a special meeting of the DCBA Membership to be held Thursday, April 5 at 10:00 am and are to be effective on that date, if approved.

The material revisions from the last version submitted to the Members for their approval is to add specific provisions in Section 11 regarding the Judiciary Committee and the Editorial Board (formerly known as the Board of Publications), regarding their general structure and operations. Other revisions were previously described to the Members with the last request.

The approval meeting will be held in the Attorney Resource Center on the third floor of the DuPage Judicial Center at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 5. Coffee and donuts will be provided.

Any questions regarding the Bylaws and their adoption may be directed to the DCBA Executive Director, and a red-lined copy highlighting all document revisions and restructuring changes is available upon request.
