DuPage County Bar Association's Judiciary Committee Issues Candidate Recommendations for Circuit Judge

Wheaton, Illinois -- The DuPage County Bar Association has issued recommendations on the candidates in the March 20, 2012 Election for Judge in the 18th Judicial Circuit, which encompasses DuPage County.
 
The recommendations are the result of an investigation and screening process conducted by the DuPage County Bar Association's Judiciary Committee.  The committee consists of 19 attorneys representing various years of practice experience selected from among the 2,600 member attorneys of the DuPage County Bar.
 
Candidates were evaluated upon the following criteria:  1) legal knowledge and ability which includes professional experience; 2) integrity; 3) judicial temperament; 4) diligence and punctuality; and 5) health.
 
Following investigation and candidate interviews, the committee rates each by one of the following categories:  "Highly Recommended, " "Recommended," or "Not Presently Recommended."
 
The names and ratings of each candidate for Circuit Judge are as follows:
• Robert G. Gibson -- Highly Recommended
• Brian R. McKillip -- Highly Recommended
• Patrick J. O'Shea -- Recommended
(Alice Wilson declined to be interviewed)
