DCBA Judiciary Committee Issues Recommendations for Associate Judge Applicants

Wheaton, Illinois -- The DuPage County Bar Association has issued recommendations regarding applicants for the DuPage County Associate Judge vacancy.
The recommendations are the result of an investigation and screening process conducted by the DuPage County Bar Association's Judiciary Committee. The committee consists of 19 attorneys representing various years of practice experience selected from among the 2,200 member attorneys of the DuPage Bar.
Candidates were evaluated upon the following criteria: 1) legal knowledge and ability which includes professional experience; 2) integrity; 3) judicial temperament; 4) diligence and punctuality; and 5) health.
Following investigation and candidate interviews, the committee rates each by one of the following categories: "Highly Recommended, " "Recommended," or "Not Presently Recommended."
The names of those candidates rated "Highly Recommended" are as follows:
- Brenda M. Carroll
- Kimberly A. Davis
- Scott M. Hardek
- John Paul Kelly
- Brian N. Nigohosian
- James D. Orel
- John J. Pcolinski, Jr.
- David E. Schwartz
- Fred A. Spitzzeri
- Michael A. Wolfe
