Please join Illinois Appellate Court Justice Joseph Birkett (Second District); Illinois Appellate Court Justice James Epstein (retired, First District) (in Chicago) Leah Bendik, Illinois Assistant Attorney General, Criminal Appeals Division; and Patrick Cassidy, Deputy State Appellate Defender, Office of the State Appellate Defender, for a panel discussion of significant criminal cases decided by the Illinois Supreme Court in 2017. ALA Secretary Gretchen Harris Sperry will moderate the discussion.

1.5 Hours MCLE Credit

Free for members of the ALA, DCBA or the AABA and $25 for those who are not members of the three sponsoring organizations.
