The October project will be assisting Feed My Starving Children by hand-packing nutritious meals made up of rice, soy, vitamins and dehydrated vegetables for distribution by relief organizations world-wide.
Our session will begin with an orientation about Feed My Starving Children. Their mission is committed to feeding starving children worldwide. Volunteers need to wear closed-toed shoes for safety reasons.
Note: We must commit in advance the number of persons who will participate, limited to 25 adults, 5 children. Children must be 3rd grade or older. Please let Eddie know by Wednesday, October 26 if you can participate.
To register or if you have any questions, call Judge Paul Marchese at 630.407.8860 or Eddie Wollenberg at 630-668-2415 . If you have any ideas or suggestion for a volunteer opportunity, please let us know.
