Lawyer to Lawyer Mentoring Program Orientation
The Lawyer to Lawyer Mentoring Program was established by the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism (ILSCCP). As an accredited provider, the DuPage County Bar Association is holding a mandatory orientation on Friday, September 23rd.
The program is open only to DCBA Members, and those who apply will be notified in advance of the orientation if they have been paired with a mentor or mentee.
Must begin this program no later than two years after being admitted to the Illinois Bar; be registered on the Illinois ARDC Master Roll of Attorneys as active; practice law in Illinois or intend to practice law in Illinois; and be a DCBA Member.
Mentees can earn 6 hours of PRMCLE credit upon completion of the program OR fulfill first year requirements.
Must be registered on the Illinois ARDC Master Roll of Attorneys as active and in good standing; be admitted to practice law in Illinois for not less than six years; never have been suspended or disbarred from the practice of law in any state or jurisdiction and have no formal disciplinary complaint pending; and be a DCBA Member.
Mentors earn 6 hours of PRMCLE credit upon completion of the program.
