To receive medical treatment or not-Giving others the right to decide-How does a health care provider implement directives?-What questions are your clients asked in seeking medical treatment?  Will health care directives be honored?  A panel discussion by health care representatives and attorneys on the new Power of Attorney for Health Care (POAHC), Illinois Physician Order for Life Sustaining Treatment (POLST); Living Wills; and Health Care Surrogate Act.  Questions to be addressed by the Panelists include: What is a Physician Order for Life Sustaining Treatment and should I and my clients get a POLST?; What is different about the POAHC in 2015:; What is a Living Will and how does it differ from a POAHC and POLST?  What happens really when there are no directives for a patient? Understanding the Health Care Surrogate Act.  This is a program with valuable information for all about communicating directives to health care providers.

Pizza, salad and beverages will be provided for those that pre-register.
