Speaker: Lisa Jacobs, Illinois Models for Change Initiative, Loyola Univerisity Chicago, School of Law

Since 2007, Ms. Jacobs has managed the Illinois Models for Change Initiative.  In that capacity, she has worked with policy makers, attorneys, judges, service providers and advocates (including leaders from DuPage County) to support state and local juvenile justice system reforms which keep youth out of the justice system, improve justice system interventions and protect community safety.  Lisa will be discussing Illinois’ progress toward an effective and fair juvenile justice system, as well as ongoing challenges and priorities.  She will also discuss lessons and opportunities for criminal justice system improvements, with an emphasis on those issues which affect emerging adults in their late teens and early twenties.

Pizza & Salad Lunch will be provided to those who pre-register

Only DCBA Members will receive MCLE Credit.
