Topic: Diversity in Local Government
Evelyn Sanguinetti offers an unique perspective to the practice of law here in DuPage County. A first generation American, Evelyn's first language was Spanish, and she grew up in poverty in South Florida. Through education, Evelyn became an attorney in who started out at the bottom, who is now an adjunct professor of law at the John Marshall Law School; Councilwoman At-Large for the City of Wheaton; and the 2014 Republican Nominee for Illinois Lieutenant Governor. She will discuss the role diversity plays in the practice, and how it has changed since she started practicing Please Note: Only DCBA members can earn MCLE credit.
